Onomatopoeia!

It's a mouthful and it's even more fun to come up with fun words!

This was meant to be an introduction to Comic Books but Benchmark testing and dances and track meets got in the way of a full fledged unit. So instead we just made some fun collages and did a cross curricular study with ELA. The results were fun and the kids liked making it.

Some kids chose newspaper backgrounds, others made their own. It was a fun day and a good break from testing.
